Enrollment for the 2017 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program will begin Monday, April 10 – May, 12, 2017. Applications will be available online beginning April 10th. Visit the ADS website for online applications.
Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides low-income seniors with $40 in voucher checks that can be used to purchase fresh produce at approved farmers market locations.

Eligibility: Please remind clients that, to be eligible for Senior Farmers Market voucher, they must:
- Meet individual eligibility (live in King County, age – 60 years or older (Native American 55+), and low-income requirements).
- Provide a valid King County mailing address (PO Box, accepted) clearly indicate apartment number, if applicable.
- Must sign the application form.
- Meet application deadline (mail must be postmarked by): May 12, 2017.
2017 Income guidelines (185% Federal Poverty level):
$22,311 annual or $1,859 monthly income for one (1) person.
$30,044 annual or $2,504 monthly income for two (2) person.
For larger households, add $644 for each additional person.
King County accepts applications and distributes vouchers by mail only. Our contact number is through Community Living Connections at 206-962-8467 or 1-844-348-5464. Due to the program popularity, Aging and Disability Services (ADS) typically does not have enough vouchers to provide one for each applicant and utilizes a random selection process. Vouchers will be mailed by July 1. Please note: seniors residing in other areas of the state (outside of King Co.) will need to contact the Area Agency on Aging in their region to apply. DSHS, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program has statewide contact information listed on their website, if needed. Each county establishes their own specific enrollment process and dates to enroll, please request program details.
