What is a clinical trial done in October called?
A trick or treatment!
We have some bittersweet news. Our beloved social worker, Akira, has decided to depart Lake City Seniors after 7 years to pursue a new career in end-of-life care/ hospice work. His last day at the center will be Friday, November 3rd. We are working to find a new social worker to take over for him and will provide an updated point of contact as soon as we can. Please join us on November 3rd after lunch for some cake and merriment to thank him for his years of dedicated service!
John, our digital equity coordinator, will be going on parental leave starting in October and will not be available to provide tech support for around four weeks. Right now, the plan is for his leave to begin the week of the 16th and we’ll keep you updated on his exact return date. We are currently looking for volunteers who can help fill in while he is out. If you know of anyone who may want to volunteer once or twice a week, please contact Justin at 206-707-1865.
We’re happy to announce that our meal deliveries are back! We will begin delivering lunches to those who were previously on our route starting Monday, October 2nd.
We have some exciting programming coming this month.
