On Monday, March 13th, we will be screening Volver, a 2006 film by critically-acclaimed director Pedro Almodovar. The film chronicles a mother who comes back from the dead to resolve issues she couldn’t resolve during her life. The film stars Penelope Cruz. Screening time is 1-3pm. English subtitles.

The December movie matinee is Chocolat starring Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench, Alfred Molina and Johnny Depp. The movie is about a woman who opens a chocolate shop in a provincial French village. Her chocolate soon challenges the old ways of the community.
