May 2024 Update

Why is May always a chaotic month?

Because it brings with it plenty of May-hem

Happy May everyone! We hope you are enjoying the longer days and taking advantage of warmer and sunnier weather. We have a lot of updates for you this month.

We wanted to remind everyone of our social media pages!
You can follow our Facebook page here:
and our Instagram here:
John is taking parental leave this month. He will be providing tech help until Friday May 10th. Starting Monday, May 13th Tech Help will be provided by a volunteer and will have reduced hours. Please check the calendar for exact dates and times. John will be back on Wednesday, June 12th.
Music and Mindfulness is taking a break for the summer. Classes will not be held for the next few months, but don’t worry! Music and Mindfulness will return in September. We will keep you updated as soon as we know the exact days and times.

We also wanted to remind everyone that Annie will not hold class in person on May 6th, May 20th, or June 17th. We will send out a pre-recorded class on May 6th, and she will be live on zoom on May 20th and June 17th. We will stream all her classes at the church during her absences.

Unfortunately, we will not have health screenings in May due to scheduling conflicts with our provider. We have been assured that health screenings will resume on the second Monday of the month starting in June.

A reminder that we will not hold any programming on Monday, May 27th in observation of Memorial Day. There will also be no meals served so please plan accordingly.
We have a lot going on this month at Lake City Seniors.
