September 2025 Update

What is a tree’s least favorite month?
Sep-timber!

John will be out of office on Friday September 12th. There will be no tech help and no tech 101 class that day.

A reminder that we will not hold any programming on Monday, September 1st in observation of Labor Day. There will also be no meals served so please plan accordingly.

On October 8th we will have a Medicare/Medicaid expert at the center to answer your questions. If you have any specific questions that you would like to discuss during the presentation, please let Syl know ahead of time to make sure we cover that topic. You can reach him at 206-268-6707.

Here’s a look at the programming we have going on this month:

  • On September 10th and September 24th at 1:00pm join our social worker, Syl, for Roundtable Conversations. Each session starts with a fun icebreaker, followed by a relaxed discussion around a broad topic relevant to our lives and experiences. Whether you’re a regular or new to the center, Roundtable Conversations is a space to engage, listen, and share with fellow community members you may not usually get to know. Everyone is welcome! This month’s topics will be: “What’s you favorite movie and why?” and “What’s a time that truly felt proud of an accomplishment?”
