Living with Memory Loss: In Our Own Words

Out of the desire to be advocates, members of The Gathering Place program who are living with memory loss, chose to create this short documentary, Living with Memory Loss: In Our Own Words.

On Monday, November 18th from 1-2pm, a social worker from the Greenwood Senior Center will be screening the documentary followed by a discussion.

Join Lake City Seniors for The 2017 Mural Project

Join the Art of Alzheimer’s and Seniors Creating Art  to take part in a dynamic artwork project reflecting the diversity of our city and the vitality and creativity of people who are living with memory loss.

The project is free and open to all.  Friends, caregivers, family and the public are encouraged to take part.

Completed murals will be included in a traveling exhibit June through December.

The Mural-making workshop will take place Monday, March 6 from 1-2:30pm at the Lake City Community Center.
