Lake City Seniors values art and the ability to express oneself through different mediums. We offer several art classes and partners with other organizations to offer more opportunities for our participants to have exposure to the arts.

Watercolor with Kathleen

Join us on Thursday afternoons for an inspirational watercolor class with our talented instructor Kathleen. This class is open to all levels and supplies is included.

Silverkite

Silverkite is a multigenerational art organization that partners with Lake City Seniors to offer a variety of classes. During the summers SilverKite offers outside programing in Albert Davis Park behind the Lake City Community Center. Since the pandemic SilverKite has started offering online programing.

Scarecrow- Silver Screeners Program

Scarecrow Video is the largest independent video shop in nation. They work with Lake City Seniors to provide Silver Screener movies. These (typically black and white) films are fun to watch and reminisce. We screen two a month at the Lake City Community Center, the 2nd Monday (Spanish with English subtitles) and the 4th Monday (English with Spanish Subtitles).
